Part of Infrastructure Services, this group is responsible for developing, supporting and managing the hardware and software relating to U.S. Bancorp’s computing environment. The technology that Infrastructure Services delivers enables U.S. Bancorp employees and customers to reliably and efficiently access critical systems. This includes mainframes and datacenters, IT Service Management and networking environments.
Job Description: Provides support for all IT related activities (applications to infrastructure) to a large or complex facility/regional
office. Participates in small projects, assisting in the coordination of select aspects, expanding in scope and complexity over time.
Responsibilities: Installs, maintains, and administers hardware, software, and network components. Learns and supports proper operation of local servers and peripherals.
Provides programming and administration support for local applications and databases.
Installs, debugs, and troubleshoots operation support and automation systems, systems software and hardware applications, and support products.
Installs and supports local applications. Evaluates and applies software and application updates; ensures backup and recovery capabilities.
Performs moves, changes, enhancements, and corrections to office layout for PC's, printers, and other hardware. Provides technical support for workstations and office applications.
Provides technical expertise to CSI peers throughout the enterprise on an expanding array of hardware and software.
